Karen Engle, Co-Owner/Editor

Karen Engle holds a BS in journalism, an English teaching credential, and a master’s in biblical studies and theology. She is the managing editor for The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, past senior editor for Faithlife Corporation/Lexham Press, and an adjunct writing instructor with Moody Bible Institute. She combines her editing experience with a strong theological background—a unique fit for clients publishing Christian or faith-based work. Her expertise is Christian nonfiction, including substantive editing, copyediting, proofreading, and quality-checking theological information. In 2017 she wrote and published A People Chosen: God’s Purpose and Plan for Israel and the Nations, an eight-week Bible study reflecting her love of Israel and the Old Testament, which won the 2018 Excellence in Editing Award. She also edited Collision: How I Found My Life by Accident, which won the 2021 Christian Pen Editor’s Choice award.

Megan Schmidt, Co-Owner/Graphic Designer

Megan Schmidt is a photographer and graphic designer with a love for art. After moving to the Pacific Northwest with her husband, she launched her photography business, which grew exponentially. Her graphic design interest expanded into book formatting and design, leading her to train under one of the top self-publishing designers in the business. She is passionate about bringing her clients’ ideas to reality through design.
